jacksonrisucciPicked up a Norrona Lofoten Pro Shell on steepandcheap for 315 on black friday just because the deal was too good to pass up. Does anyone have experience with the sizing, as i normally wear large but ordered in XL as I will probably be layering pretty heavily most of the time. Also, how do you like it?
patagonialukeI haven't tried on the Lofoten shell in a long time, but from what I remember, it's a pretty roomy fit. The XL is probably gonna be pretty big on you, but Norrona's patterning is phenomenal and I doubt it'll feel super excessively baggy, especially if you're laying a lot underneath.
And I'm a massive fan of all the Norrona products I've used. The closest comparison I can come up with in terms of overall quality is Arc'teryx. Features are really well thought out in most cases, quality and finish have been excellent, and I've always really liked their fits. Their Lyngen Hybrid kit is still my favorite touring kit, and I've been using the Tamok Gore Pro jacket this year and am in love so far.
