STEEZUS_CHRI5TI thought ski length was related to height not skill.
It's definitely related to skill, maybe less so for park, but certainly for powder and big mountain. Ten years ago my freeride skis were 159cm long, 5 years ago they were 169, currently I'm riding 177's. The more you are charging down the mountain the more you tend to want the stability of a longer ski. My park skis haven't gotten much longer though, they were 155 when I started out and now I ride 164-168, longer is better if you are hauling in fast to larger jumps, but can make things more cumbersome on rails.
For your stats class I'm 5'2 157cm tall and a type 3+ skier based on this chart
https://www.skis.com/Determining-Your-Skier-Type/article-10-17-2012,default,pg.html which basically just means you set your din higher than what is recommended for type 3 for your weight/ height/ BSL, which I do. Ski length is 164 for park, 170 all mountain, 177 powder. Average ski length is 170.
