Piste skis that work with touring boots

Hi, I have the Technica zero G tour 2018-19 ( white boots with orange) and I am looking to get some piste skis that are compatible with these boots. Replacing my boots is not a viable option right now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone else feel free to jump in if I'm overgeneralizing but any bindings with specifically WTR will be compatible with touring boots.

yeah you just need the right bindings. For skis, just make sure you don't get anything thats rididuclously chargey/demanding. Those are strong boots, but could be overpowered/uncomortable with a really burly ski.

Not true - he needs a binding that has a gliding AFD and WTR bindings usually don't. He will need an MNC binding, one that is designed to cover the actual touring norm, not the specific sub-set of WTR.

For example, an STH2 16 WTR will not work well with Touring Norm boots.

Nope - GripWalk is entirely separate thing. It's a mix between ISO 5355 and ISO 9523.

GripWalk is GripWalk, and Touring Norm boots do not fit into GripWalk-specific bindings.

Yes, those bindings will work (unfortunately there are two identical threads on this and in the other thread I have an answer concerning this).

The big problem is trying to get one of those bindings on a "system carving" ski. There are almost no options in the legit piste category, but there are some options in the system all-mountain category.

What about options that work, even if it is not 100% safe. I remember being in a ski shop and the guy demonstrated how using my boots with a pair of 2018-19 rosignol hero skis where the toe part lowers, still works as normal.

When it comes to fitting into and releasing properly from a binding, ISO 5355 and GripWalk are more similar to each other while the Touring Norm is VERY different here. It's just not the same thing and it's the reason why Alpine, GripWalk, and MNC bindings exist. Don't risk your knees man, which is literally what it comes down to. No binding company will indemnify that combo, which means any injury/legal problems will be all on you and the shop that mounts it.

I know they're not everyone's favourite, but Marker Griffon ID and Jester ID are both alpine bindings that accept touring boots.

That's true but these bindings aren't really found on system carving skis, to my knowledge. The hang up is going to be finding the right ski that he wants with a binding that actually works with his boots.
