Edge crack skiability

So if you had like one small edge crack on your ski and you got it fixed would it really effect how your ski skis?

Edge cracks are the point of life support on a ski, just care for it until its time comes.

When your edge cracks all edges are compromised: both skis included. They will be thin and weathered. They will ski like a limp fish corpse, repaired or not. If you have it repaired, a ski tech will overcharge, underperform and laugh at the poor bastard who got their weathered edge "fixed".

That said, this is relevant to park skis. I have only ever had edge cracks on them, and there will be no difference. On a powder or race ski, I might get it fixed. Park skis ski like trash no matter what after hitting rails.

I had an edge start to pull out of one of my skis (magnus 90's) and took it to the shop where a good buddy of mine works, they pulled out base, stapled the edge to the core, epoxied, and filled the base back in with p-tex. Worked like a charm.

if its underfoot you have to sacrafice your own mother to get it repaired and ski it for another day
