Retina Display vs Reality

So i figured that when i'm doing stuff on my Macbook Pro (retina display) every color looks dope etc.
But in reality when it comes to other displays or even android phones - in fact anything other then a retina iphone macbook etc. it looks a bit off.
Does anyone have a tip to be able to reach the perfect mix or a setting so you can view it both ways ?

If you really want to get a good color grade, investing in a color calibrating device for your monitor (something like a Datacolor Spyder) would be the way to go. Some monitors ( for example some of Eizo's) even offer a "preview" for different devices. Otherwhise you could always just slightly oversaturate everything. One thing to note is that most LED screens tend to have a slight blue shift, therefore your color grade will look a bit more blueish on most devices.

Screen calibration will always be an issue, since not everyone has the same colour space/calibration on their screens. I always find that whatever i see on my macbook/iphone is pretty well how it’ll look to the majority of people.
also iirc retina only affects quality, not colour.
I really dont know what to suggest you do, you could try getting a screen calibrator but it probably wont be worth the $150+
They’re really only for professional photo editors and colorists where the fine details really matter
