What touring bindings should I get ?

dynafit rotation is an underrated binding

I was considering shifts but I think they’re a bit too heavy and they only have one riser. I’ve been looking at the G3 Z 12s though

I d look into the Fritschi Vipec 12s, G3 Ion 12s (or 10s if you re a lighter person) or Dynafit Rotation 12s. All of them offer a sturdy, well proven design and parts like breaks aren t insanely expensive either.
I am 80-85kg (I think that s roughly 160 pounds?) and I am on 102mm ski with a Ion 12. Never had any release issues, icing is non existent and it still holds strong even after more than a few hundred days of touring. If am skiing steeps I usually lock my toes because I d rather not die but other than that my toe stays unlocked. On my lighter ski I use a TLT Expedition which works surprisingly well but that s probably a bit too overkill if you re not doing longer (3+ days) tours.

I should maybe add that I never ski inbounds so I can t give you an overview about it s resort performance.
