Faction candide 2.0 binding mount location

Hey guys I just bought some 2019 Faction Candide 2.0’s. I have some Tyrolia attack 13’s to mount on these. I ski probably 40% park and 60% all mountain. Was wondering about binding placement. I’m thinking 1 maybe 2 back??? Thoughts?

Mount at the candide line, call it a day. I work for faction and have been skiing them for 3 years, CT line is the best place to mount them

unless youre talking 1 or 2cm back from true center, in which case I would also endorse that. But don't go behind the CT line.

Dang I had them mounted at the all mountain line. Well I’ll see how they feel guess if I need to remount I can still go at the ct line. Thanks for the insight though!!

the CT 2.0, since its a symmetrical sidecut, really needs to be center or close-to-center mounted. Where did you buy them/ have them mounted?

even the directional models (CT 3.0-5.0) should 100% be mounted at the Candide line

I have mine at recommended (I presume what you called the all mtn line) and they ski great. Loads of fun charging around the hill, surprisingly good in powder and tbh the only slight downside is rails / swing weight (unsurprisingly). Still fun as hell though, you won’t regret it

I bought them from evo cause my local shops don’t carry faction. I got them mounted at my local shop though.

There was 2 “recommended” lines. One was the ct which is pretty much center I believe and then the all mtn line which was further back by an 1inch or more.

always ct line, all mtn line is only there for people who don't know how twin tips work and think you can't mount skis close to center

Bout to mount some myself. How far is the CT line back from true center? I usually mount other brand skis 2 back from true center, spoke with W. Berman he mentioned he is at 1.5cm back from true center.

On the 184cm Candide 2.0, the CT line is a hair over 1cm back from center and the All Mountain Line is a hair over 5cm back from center.

Just as a note to anyone on the thread or reading this for there own question. I had them mounted at the “all mountain ” and did not like the feel what so ever. I ended up getting them remounted at the “ct line” and oooohhh boy are these skis fun. You can ride fast and confident but yet slow down and be flowy with some butters. Crazy amount of difference. Thanks for all the feed back guys!!!

What width brakes do you have? Considering buying some attack 13 bindings with 95mm brakes but wondering if I will need to bend them out allot.

The best option would be to try and see in person. I bought my bindings off my buddy who used them once. He’s a marker guy. But he wasn’t sure about the brake size. But they seem to fit well and I don't think they are bent at all.

where did you have buy them/ have them mounted? I clinic all of my Faction retailers to always mount CTs at the CT line haha

I bought off of evo because my local shop doesn’t carry faction. But I got them mounted at my local shop. I asked why they don’t carry and it’s cause they have a lot of other brands as it is. It is a small shop in Anoka MN.
