Hitting skis on rail trying blind 2s

I have been skiing a few times already this season and I have been trying to get back 2s more consistent but I always end up hitting the tips of my skis mid spin which either results in a very sketchy landing or me just landing sideways. Has anyone else had the problem or does anyone have tips on how to get better at getting your skis over the rail?

Youre probably initiating your spin too late. Try hitting the rail a little faster, bend your knees and a foot or so before the end of the rail explode upward and begin your rotation. It should keep your tips clear from knocking the end of the rail.
