OregonDeadHang in there dude. Feel free to share what is on your mind on here or hit me up with a DM. I bet that goes for just about anyone on here if you need someone to listen we got you mang
The eating thing is rough but the science says you need the nutrients to have a good mood. If you are having a hard time eating then you should focus on nutritionally dense foods and don't waste your time with empty calories.
If you are not skiing then building up an appetite can be a challenge. I have had troubles with this myself. I can basically eat everything in the house after a big day in the mountain but sometimes it can be a real challenge. This past summer laid up with injury sometime it was a struggle just to put any food down at all. You gotta just force yourself to eat though

yeetus_chund666it might be school but i dunno. if you have any tips to help me get inspired to ski would be much appreciated. i feel like if i drag myself up to the mountain it might get better

oldmanskiThis can be a challenging time of year for most, the weather turns cold, it stays dark longer, shit doesnt want to work, and the holidays can add to the shitty feelings but, we have skiing. You say you are going up this weekend? Watch some current videos/edits, watch some old ones, youtube some tutorials on tricks, study a new one. Are your skis/gear tuned ready to go?
Life is like a pile of shit and we are armed with a shovel. The shit is always piling up(no matter what), you can decide to shovel and keep your area clear, or you can let it pile up around you and let it cover your ass. Sometimes we need help with the shoveling but for the most part we are on our own. Tighten up those suspenders and keep shoveling my dude, we all are shoveling in our own way. Keep your head up.
BiffbarfShitting on someone asking for help = not cool
iFlip"Most importantly I've lost my desire to ski."
It could not possibly be any more privileged than that. Asking for help motivating to recreate in a very high-dollar super impractical hobby...seriously?

BLandzYo dude I know this is long but plz read I used to be so depressed back in the day
Back in highschool I thought I was depressed or something but the truth was I was just the laziest motherfucker ever. I slept in way too long, didn’t eat healthy, didn’t have much phys activity, and when I got off school I played xbox till I fell asleep.
I realized if all you do is go to school (which sucks) and go home and watch tv or play box all day theres no way you can be happy. The secret is self care.
Try eating healthy, waking up and going to bed at consistent times, and excersizing. You don’t need to go to the gym, just do any physical activity that is productive. (Side note: look at ppl w nice bodies, it doesn't matter how ugly their face is, simply working out and getting in shape will 100% make you attractive)
I used to think that life is like a journey and there is some sort of end goal to achieve. Whether thats money, or fame, or being the best at something. But the truth is, its not. Because you work your whole life trying to achieve someTHING and once you achieve that thing you either realize its not exactly what you wanted or you just want more and get greedy. True happiness is simply achieved by waking up early and just trying your best to live healthy, happy, and accepting the fact that EVERY problem you face in life in nobodies fault but yours. So with that being said. Try to figure out your problems are and force yourself to get motivated and beat the fuck outta those problems.
Dont live your life like its yours. If you were trying to instruct another person to be the most successful person on the planet. You would force them to have good habits. Do the same for yourself. No more BS. Its not going to be easy, but make your conscience an army drill sergeant and your body is just the soldier who MUST obey what the sergeant makes it do.
**Most important*** —— Another huge thing that helped me was making a list on my phone of all the things I need to do in a day. This way at the end of the day you feel accomplished as long as you do all the things. I found the days I didn’t complete the list I felt sad and the days I did were amazing.
Hope this helps man good luck. Ngl doing 4 ginos of shrooms alone at ur house will possibly help
