How to size bibs for steeze?

Looking into getting an L or XL bib. I’m really in between a small or medium but i want tha bag. If i got it way bigger, would it just not fit?
My concern is the suspender straps won’t tighten enough, and the fit around my torso will be way to loose as well.
anyone has experience with XL bibs? If not, whats a good pant substitute for primarily park riding?

I'm pretty sure that vast majority of the website wears XL at least, regardless of their height or weight...
That being said, stop being a pussy and cop XL
*catch is to have a long enough tallT to match it
thank me later

Guess the question is how much function are you down to sacrifice if you’re dropping cash on new bibs? If you fit a small/medium and size up to xl obviously you’ll be dealing with some issues since the pants designed for someone taller and heavier than you, not just to be steezier than the small size.
I used to rock xl saga (then xl Holden) and just picked up some medium Trew bibs and honestly I’m stoked. Still baggy in the leg but there isn’t a foot of extra fabric to drag and rip, and the torso fits close enough that I’ll actually keep wind and snow out (literally the whole point of me getting bibs).
You do you but I’d recommend finding a company that makes baggier freestyle fits and getting something closer to “your size” from them. Then you get the steeze and don’t have to give anything else up. Win win.

Just received the Saga Monarch 3Ls in XL. They're dope pants, but I definitely shouldn't have gone XL, they're gargantuan.
As I feared, the straps dont fit and the torso width is huge. Also there's probably about 6-8 inches of extra material at the ankles. I mean the pants are so sick its a shame I got em too big cause now there's none left on evo.
