BiffbarfSome kid at whole foods told me I don't even need to use toothpaste to brush my teeth as long as I eat nothing but fruit for the rest of my life. Looks like I'm savin' $2.79 every few months. Suck it, crest.
BdoobzAnyone else on that Sensodyne?
SeekingseasonsSensodyne is honestly one of the most dentist recommended and top tier toothpastes on the market. I am definitely on the dyne.

mystery3I also use this, I don't love it but it's the closest thing I can get to the best toothpaste in the history of mankind...Mentadent.
IanAvery-Leafif you're a real one your's has Novamin included in the active ingredients, also you're a real one if you recognize charcoal "whitening" toothpaste is way more harm than good
Chubz.Bro I cringe when I’m talking to people and I can see the charcoal in between their teeth. So fucking gross. Kids and white chicks take up any gimmick they see on ig stories lmao!
BedBugDougMentadent was the best shit in the entire world. My world crumbled when they discontinued it. So being the savvy millennial I am, I hopped online to cop some. I shit you not they were on eBay for 200 FUKN DOLLARS A TUBE. It was insane, people made buku dolores off toothpaste.

Monsieur_PatateI've been told that toothpaste should be regularly switched. Basically, since most toothpastes have specific properties in addition to basic cleaning (such as gum health, whitening, etc.) you should regularly switch so your teeth get to be exposed to all that good stuff and not just one active ingredient for your entire life.
I think it makes good sense, so I regularly switch brands and types.
RaarlI’m alternating between this and the bulk Crest Gum Detoxify from Costco.
QuantumMechanicaccording to my buddy in his second year at Harvard dental:
"we haven’t been told anything like that. the important thing is to use a fluoride toothpaste because that’s good for your teeth. and other than that, don’t use a toothpaste that has abrasive stuff in it that can weaken your enamel. some of the whitening toothpastes have stuff that’s effective at whitening, but can weaken your enamel, which would increase your risk for cavities. other than that, toothpastes like sensodyne and stuff have ingredients in them to strengthen your dentin (I think) which can help reduce sensitivity. i wouldn’t say there is benefit to randomly switching toothpastes for no reason as long as it has fluoride in it and isn’t too abrasive, you should be good. then switch if you need to. i can let you know if we learn more"
