Breckenridge's snowless year circa the 80's? OLDER MEMBERS HELP

Def not old enough for any of this but here's what I remember reading

I think it was late 70s. Maybe 77/78 I could be mistaken. It was just as bad Utah. This was pre snowmaking at pretty much everywhere. Major snowmaking investments and really inventing modern snowmaking happened right after this winter.
