larilinesignHey I'm moving to downtown SLC in a month and dont know anyone. Sesh?
AbiHYes!!!! Do you have a place to live yet?
CyanicenineAnyone going to the rail jam at powder mountain? https://sheshreds.co/pages/2020-sheshreds-co-jamboree-at-powder-mountain February 7th. I'm considering going but you still have to buy your own lift tickets, which means unless you take home 1st you aren't covering your expenses to get out there. It would be fun just to share stoke with other ladies, I'm just on the fence about the expense and time commitment to drive and hour and half out there when I have a season pass to parks nearby.
LostGirlsTribeI'll be rolling through Utah in my van Feb 1 - 3! Dm me if you want to meet up/shred/film! :)
larilinesignDudettes I dont know anyone out here! Any chance of getting a sesh going Feb 22-23 or even a night ski during the week? :)
CyanicenineI'm happy to show you ladies around the local parks here. I've been in Utah 2 years now so I know my way around Park City and Brighton, I'm just now learning Woodward but they're still working on getting their park built up. I'm sure you'll make in roads with the other younger ladies here, there are quite a few in the park, particularly at Brighton, but I also see more than a couple on the park city freestyle team. I'm too old to hang with the young up and comers being over 30 (there are a couple snowboard ladies my age but not really any skiers in the park), but if you don't mind hanging out with someone 10+ years older I can tell you all about the local scene if you want to meet up.
AbiHInterested in building a jump Saturday!?
lil.quinoaMy fiancé and I need a place to rent/live this summer in Park City / SLC. An apartment, a room, a house will do. Know any places? Got any hookups? We have a medium sized doggo and we’re both skier/snowboarders.
AbiHAh man! Wish I did, check facebook! I just now got into a place:/
PatrycjaWittTime to revive the thread. Where are all the Utah park ladies? I have an idea!

sdramI'm moving to Salt Lake at the end of the month and would love to make friends to lap with!
larilinesignHey feel free to reach out! Where's your pass? What days you ski?
sdramWill do! I got the Alta Bird w/ Ikon base and Epic local pass. I'll probably try to get out there a couple hours most weekdays (and all day on weekends) tbd though...
CyanicenineLittle Kings opened today, hooray! I haven't skied it but I'll be there tomorrow. Woodward is doing a lot better with its park this year, jumps are decent, much better than last year, the rails are still terrible though, mega rusty, mega sticky, not many beginner friendly rails. I went back and watched the PC woodward slvsh game and they were complaining in that game about the sticky rails, nothing has changed. It warms my heart a bit to see all the people railing against PC on their instagram about Transitions park being shut down, maybe vail will realise how much people care about the terrain parks.
larilinesignU got a woodward pass? I'm on the fence rn
AbiHLast year it was only 150 a month I think
Wonder if it’s the same
larilinesignU got a woodward pass? I'm on the fence rn
larilinesignI would just get the $89 mountain pass. I'm not really into their Olympic-style indoor skate park so don't really have a reason to be inside
CyanicenineFYI if you have mountain pass you get a free Sno-GO rental and lesson :). Also I think I saw you there on Sunday, not a lot of snoskaters around heh.
larilinesignOmg I was there Sunday! Holla at yo girl next time 😁. Jeremy Jones was low key there too with his little kids.
CyanicenineDude it's crazy how many pros there are here in Utah, not like my podunk washington resorts. I spent all day yesterday with Tom Wallisch on the chairlift behind me. I also got a nod from Simon Dumont once at the top of the park, I was like um yeah you go ahead and drop first. Meanwhile I'm just jerrying it up on the small spine jumps. I will try to say hi next time :)

larilinesignOh snap! At woodward? I think they all come to town on the day they open new stuff.
CyanicenineYep. It's pretty easy to recognize Twall since I've heard his voice tons announcing at the xgames, also he's always wearing a full North Face outfit.
larilinesignHe live here or something?

larilinesignYo u going out this weekend? I'm doing Park City on Saturday and Snowbird on Sunday
CyanicenineI'll be at woodward on Sunday I try to avoid going out on Saturdays cause of the crowds.
CyanicenineI skied Snoqualmie, Crystal and Stevens in that order. I miss washington powder, utah supposedly has the greatest snow on earth, but WA gets way more snow, especially in a good year, and the wet powder takes more skill and the right kind of skis to ride so there is way less competition for it. All the resorts look way different from when I left though, it's only been a few years but all the resorts got bought out by vail and alterra and aren't the same at all from when I rode them. The crowds were already getting beyond insane at Stevens pass and everywhere really so I'm not too sad about leaving. Now I just ride a whole lot more park and whole lot less big mountain and powder, which is fine, living 12 miles away from the nearest resort is a lot better than living in Seattle trying to ski every day. I do want to move back to the PNW someday though, I really love the people and the vibe of the area. I would want to live close to a resort though and not spend 4 hours trying to get back home from stevens pass.
larilinesignHey welcome to Utah! Where ya skiing this season? It would be nice to link up
alschulzthanks! i’m totally down to link! i’m skiing brighton mainly. you?
larilinesignIkon and epic. Half my days in Utah, half on the road. What days u ski?
CyanicenineI ski everyday except for Saturdays and Tuesdays. I just do a couple hours in the mornings though.
Does anyone know how the crowds have been at Brighton? They were awful last time I tried to go about a week ago.
