Well imagine you’re in the middle of the desert and you’re dehydrated, then you find this cactus. You’re probably going to eat it. I look at cacti all the time and go “yeah I could eat that”. And also, why not? People trip on shrooms and you’re not asking me why people do that. Might as well ask me why people wake up in the morning.

Went to this weird sweat lodge one time, they gave me this weird drink and I turned into Krusty the clown for about 14 hours, don't know if it was peyote or mescaline, I got to skate with bart tho.

Also I literally just read that mescaline can be synthesized, which I did not know prior to my response, so I suppose they can be two different things.

Talking to your therapist might be fun too but therapists dont exist for fun reasons . Plant medicines are tools for healing and problem solving . They react to your intentions . Chasing a high using powers beyond your control is foolish and dangerous.

I know man I’m just joking around! That’s with a lot of psychedelics- you don’t do them and you’re not supposed to do them just to get fucked up. It’s all very spiritual. I would never just do psychedelics for fun, anytime or anyplace, that would be downright stupid and just asking for a bad trip. Would only use for healing and spirituality and self discovery. Nothing else.

If you don’t know the history and the spiritual significance of the use of Peyote I highly recommend you find a Navajo friend/ spirit leader before you try it.

I realize to a lot of you it sounds “Fun” and you would just Love to go on a journey.. and honestly I believe that too! I’d love to try it but do realize that some Navajo Spirit leaders would find that Recreational use is extremely distaste. I’m not Navajo but I know how significant peyote is to the Navajo’s culture.

would you find it to be in good taste if someone like Me were to go to a Christian church and drink all of the holy water because I just love the sensation it gives me... what kind of reactions do you think I’d get?
