Right bro, literally effortless for him and he absolutely rips. And Jarrod Walker makes listening to that mandolin so enjoyable

I've seen him a few times the last 2 years. I dig him, I dig the people he plays with, I dig the sweet collabs he ends up in. Always fun. Listened to most of his new album the other day.


Was good seeing him in Denver last week at the Jeff Austin tribute.

Stoked to see him blowing up in the mainstream a but too. I think he'll be able to send a night at RR soon. Was stoked when greensky did similarly in the last 5 ir so years.

Home is a fantastic album, and I give it a couple more months before Billy and the band is a pretty commonly heard name. Super sick to see his new style of bluegrass gaining interest in younger heads. Dude sold out 27 of his last 30 shows of the year

Billy Strings is an absolute madman, one of the most incredible people I've been lucky enough see live in concert. This summer I had a dream come true when I saw Billy Strings and John Stickly Trio at the same festival in the middle of nowhere in western Montana. I remember in one of Billy's songs him stopping for a moment from his rapid picking to take a hit from a dab pen, and upon exhaling jumping back in perfectly at twice the pace. Then toward the end of the Billy Strings set John Stickly was invited on stage and proceeded to battle it out with Billy, very precisely and intricately passing back and forth mind bending solos, John in his very casual manor, and Billy with his unmistakable energy, then John lets out this solo that just blew Billy out of the water, it felt like actual warfare with guitars. It was everything I had wanted since I started listening to JST and BS. I think John is a better guitar player, but not to downplay Billy's incredible skills as a more rounded musician with this singing and songwriting as well. I also was lucky enough to see JST play for a radio show recording in an audience of 30 people, as well as with Infamous Stringdusters.
