Favorite Level 1 Movie

Zig Zag was dope. I wish I paid attention to Romance, they played it like 45 minutes early at the Rusty Nail premier last weekend so I was not paying attention when we showed up (thought it was some other movie sow e were all chatting).

Long Story Short is baller. That movie could stand up to todays skiing. Refresh will always hold a special place in my heart . It was one of the first movie premiers I had ever been to (freshman year of college, I was stoked).

I haven't seen any of them before Less, but I really like Small World. Great soundtrack, good variety in the segments and great to re-watch. Just my two cents

Just watched pleasure tonight, was really good.

Refresh will always be my favorite level 1 movie and I don’t think anybody will ever be able to make a better ski movie than Refresh. That’s the bench mark for me, and everybody’s fallen short.

Ever since sunny level 1 movies have seemed the same every single year, just with different places and different music.


im about halfway through Romance, hoping it would give me the feeling refresh did 10 years ago but sadly it’s coming up short. Maybe refresh has just carried that nostalgia of a wide eyed 13 year old Josh discovering henrik and tall T’s that essentially made me fall in love with freeskiing. But every segment in that movie is perfect in my eyes, the music, the shots and tricks..I could go all day.


I honestly think it’s the use of the RED camera, it makes every shot look the same. And while yeah it’s so impressive that it’s 28k and super high quality it lost that pizazz that level 1 movies used to have.

Idk Parker white’s segment blew my mind. Enough typing, back to the movie.

Strike 3. Im kinda oldschool

haven't watched romance yet but as someone who had only seen the last 3 at my school when we held premieres the standouts have been:

Forward, Long Story Short, Refresh, Eye Trip, Sunny, and Partly Cloudy.

The credits brought a tear to my eye, cheers to level 1. They ended it with a bang. Definitely the best video they’ve released in the last few years. Sad to see the annual films end but excited to see what’s in store for the future.

Romance pulled the heart strings man...

I thought Sunny was sick. Haven't seen Romance or Pleasure. Zig Zag was good. I thought P Whites seggy in After Dark was filthy. Loved Refresh. Cant decide.

Don't really have a solid top 3 but I'm a huge fan of "Less" and it hasn't been mentioned yet
