Replying to Ski places in NC with good parks

I go to college in the south so if I'm tryna ski a bit, I need to find a place in North Carolina that has a good terrain park or even one that might get dumped on. So far my options are about 4hrs away or more, which is not that bad. I've looked at Ober Gatlinburg, Sugar Mountain, Appalachian (which actually is a huge percentage park)...Snowshoe in WV seems like the nearest legit mountain but that's >9h away.
Is anyone here familiar with ski areas in NC and lmk which ones are good and which ones are shit? And by that I mean, which parks are good or shit, bc I doubt there is anything else interesting to do on those mountains.
