Ski places in NC with good parks

I go to college in the south so if I'm tryna ski a bit, I need to find a place in North Carolina that has a good terrain park or even one that might get dumped on. So far my options are about 4hrs away or more, which is not that bad. I've looked at Ober Gatlinburg, Sugar Mountain, Appalachian (which actually is a huge percentage park)...Snowshoe in WV seems like the nearest legit mountain but that's >9h away.
Is anyone here familiar with ski areas in NC and lmk which ones are good and which ones are shit? And by that I mean, which parks are good or shit, bc I doubt there is anything else interesting to do on those mountains.

Yea I go to Georgia State. Cataloochee is by far the closest skiing to Atlanta. I wouldn't even consider Ober as they are only open for about 2-3 months max out of the year. This is mostly because they don't have a good snowmaking system and the weather never really goes in their favor.

In terms of a park at Cataloochee, they had a pretty decent one about 3-4 years ago. Their park program fell of heavy in the last couple of years, but I heard through the grapevine that it should be revitalized for this season. The mountain itself is pretty fun and you cant beat the fact that its only 3 hours from Atlanta. Beach, Sugar and App are all about 5 hours away.

App ski mountain currently has the best parks in NC but other mountains like beech has a smaller park but there is better overall skiing while sugar mountain has the best non park skiing in NC but their park is not great when it opens

same here, I just moved to Atlanta but hopefully will be going to college next year in Colorado. Ive been to Cataloochee for the first time last month and plan on going more times especially for the few rails they got.
