On3p kartel 108 touring setup

my quiver consists of 2017-2018 kartel 108's 176 length, 179 2019 wrenegade 114, and 2019 4frnt msp 99, was thinking about retiring the msp's as the top sheets r fucked and i want something sturdier for touring. Im going with frame bindings as I will only go on short tours in the morning before school and then hit resort in the afternoon (Squaw Valley). would the kartels be too heavy for say a marker baron?

I have kartel 108s with cast sth2 16s. Heavy on the way up but rock solid on the downs. I don't tour on them all that often so cast was the best route for me

Will they be your daily driver or just for short tours here and there? Also, do you have a 50/50 boot? If you have a 50/50 boot and they are a daily driver, go with CAST. If you have a 50/50 boot and they aren't a daily driver and you'll just use them for sidecountry + mixed resort, get a pin binding/shifts. I find frame bindings to suck. The stack height is egregious, they're heavy, and i always felt disconnected from the feel of my ski when using them.
