The hidden blessings in injuries

Took a tumble, a stupid tumble near A basin yesterday. Whatever I hit my leg on ripped my phone in half(with a case on), and crunched my quad pretty good. If my phone hadn't taken most of the impact, I might have actually injured my leg, which poses the question; "why did i decide to put my phone in my right pocket in stead of my backpack like usual?" Divine intervention? Just lucky? Am I just stoned and introspective?
