I love it when the snows so soft you feel like falling will almost feel good.

I like how in late spring even if most of the snow remaining is the hardpack left over from blown snow, it still gets pretty soft.
Obviously natural snow is better but spring slush is always good

Slushy spring conditions is just as fun as knee deep pow. Plus you get to ride in a T-shirt! Just gotta watch out for them ACLs.

Don't say this, you're making me scared of my skiing in ten years. I have a few mates all older and they are punched from injuries.

Oh, I was referring to titties deep days. You can land on your head or on your skis...you will still be ok. As long as you have a buddy to dig you out; I call those days consequence free days. In the West Kootenays, they only happen 2-3 times a season.
I dont go anywhere near a resort on those days. Too many newbs scrapping the powder off the big huck landing pads, but leaving the top ledges full of snow. Learnt that the hard way a couple years back.

That is exactly why I am getting into touring. Oh and the fact I hate pow day competition at resorts, there's no chill.
