bought a pair of 26.5 full tilt TW pros last year, they felt great in the store, got the liners heat molded and everything. But they give me horrible cramps every time I try to ski in them ( I think because the shell is too low volume right at the ankle). Anybody know a boot with a high volume right at the ankle/top of arch?
Yeah sorry should have been more specific, I got measured and also tried just the shell and was told it was just the right size. Then I got a set of custom footbeds and had the liners fully heat molded.
It's not the boot it's the footbeds. You have to get used to them. Put them in your regular shoes for a few hours over the next few weeks. I had a tough time skiing mine right away. I have a super high arch and was not used to having something under it.
I have the same issue and my foot measures 106mm wide which makes it tough. Definitely get a custom footbed and talk w a boot fitter. I went by 3 or 4 shops to get various opinions. Another reason to go by multiple shops, is most shops only recommend a boot that they currently have available to sell.
