Unless your rich, sounds like your gonna work at a mountain, which is still pretty rad despite the work.

Go to the resorts that offer housing. Get in now before you spend the season at your parents basement. Or worse. Work at a Vail resort for the season.

Every resort everywhere is scrambling to put together a little workforce for the winter you should find a job somewhere, and by should I mean will ski resorts hire anyone they need the labor don’t expect much pay but you can expect much skiing, much more than the average at least

dont know what the deal is with other mountains but snowbird is a pretty tough mountain to get on the patrol team with. They always got tons of returning guys and gals from over the years that they wanna take care of first which is fair. Not much money to go around either but from what ive been told by a few coworkers who are patrollers over there, its not a bad gig. Just a lot of work

I wouldnt mind sending over some contact info about coaching positions for the team Im coaching with this season but my division doesn't work really full-time, maybe 25-30 hours a week at most, and lots of shifts get taken due to it not being fulltime so would have to get a 2nd job elsewhere. Not to mention its not too cheap to live in PC, you'll have to commute from either SLC or one of the cowtowns that surround PC. I dont think we help with living situations sadly either.

Yeah those big mountains are hard af, i got turned down by big sky and bridger (i dont even know why i applied to bridger) for patrol and said i should just stick to ski instructing, ski instruction turned me into a kid hater in like three years, never again.
