ok im writing a fucking paper for ap gov and i need to find a summary on this court case. like stuff like the rules of law that dealt with the case, the legal reasoning that was applied to teh rules of law, and the which justices supported and which didnt. can anyone help or point me in teh right direction?

Haha i had to learn about this case like a month ago. Alright T.L.O. was some chick who was caught smoking in the girls room. She told the vice prinicpal she didnt do it, so he went snooping in her purse and found evidence that she was obviously smoking. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of The Vice Principal, or New Jersey, by like 6-3 or something like that. If the number is important you better look it up. My teacher said something about the difference of reasonable suspicion or probable cause, but what does she know, she is a lesbian. seriously. i hope everyone enjoyed that awesome government lesson.
