Vishnu Wets but a shorter length?

Hi NS,
I was looking to get a pair of vishnu wets but then I realized my size doesn’t exist. I am 5‘4, 15 years old and would need a ski at around 165cm in length. Does anybody know an alternative?

With as much rocker as the Wets have youd probably be fine with the 177 or whatever they come in.

they ski short im 5'6 and ive skied the 186s( I think they are 186) really easily

Are you sure because a ski that is 15cm longer than myself seems kinda huge tbh...Maybe I should get the magnus 90 161cm?

177cm converted into feet and inches is roughy 5'8. Thats 4 inches taller than you are, and on a ski like the Wets you will be glad to have the extra stability. I skied a pair of 182 Wets for 2 seasons, the rocker and flex made the extra length unnoticeable. Tall skis are for men

yeah i am sure bro i rode one of my friends vishnus for a whole day in the park and they were easier to ski then my 166s

177 cm rockered ski will be fine for your height. I ride 172cm ARV 106s for my everything ski and I'm 5'2". Longer skis the way to go.

yeah youll be fine vishnus ski short i was worried about skiing my 183 wides last year but had no issue

i like my skis on the longer side but

1) NS overdoes it and always suggests longer lengths
2) for the type of skiing Vishnus are made for, way over your head is stupid

yes you could do it of course, but it's not optimal. and you can find skis that have most of the same attributes that make Vishnu popular

i say you should get something else symmetrical and soft with rocker. i don't usually recommend Lines but maybe something from them for the time being and since you're 15 you'll be growing and then you can buy Vishnus or whatever strikes your fancy

I’m in the same boat as you man. I’ve skied on the wets for a quick bit and I’m the same height as you. I’m looking at getting a pair of honey badgers and waiting till I’m a little taller to get wets. Contrary to popular belief being 115pounds it’s still hard to butter the wets as I can’t get my center of mass of the tips.

Thanks alot! I think I agree that 177cm seems a bit too long and I should probably wait until I am tall enough. I think I am going to go for the Line Blends in 171cm.

Good call, Blends are super soft like Vishnus and I bet you can find a decent deal on em. Honey badgers in 166 could be a good option too for even cheaper
