RobeeeeeeeeeertoOne time I made the foolish choice to train off a snowboarder. He of course cased the jump, unbeknownst to me, and I landed with a ski on either one of his shoulders as he tried to get away
RikeBackflipped of a natural hit and caught my tips in the landing and some how managed to slice through my snow pants all the way to my thermal undies with my ski.. why the ski stopped there.. haha beats me!! I ain’t complaining !
percs2 years ago, tried dmt for the first time in squaw parking lot. Got offered it outa nowhere by two hippies. No one else in the crew wanted to. I was like fuck it free dmt and i didnt regret it.
RADAGASTI got a similar story to fries. I did a backflip over some lady off the wave at snowbird last year. The bowl had just opened up and there was a line of people hitting the wave with someone spotting at the take off. When it was my turn the spotter gave me the "all clear" and I couldn't see anybody skiing towards the landing so I started in. Halfway through my backflip I see this lady ski right under me.

finderThere's this trail at my home mountain with a really long head wall, then some knolls after, and you can easily clear about 150 feet of distance. Not super high off the ground, but you're going really fast.
CalumSKIwashed out on the waterfall cliff at tblant so hard that i got stuck in the powder it was pretty funny
snapping both femurs is a pretty big claim to fame for me
also chinese downhilling with like 12 of the boys on flying mile during the spring going like mach ten

DIRTYBUBBLEMay Day at Big Boulder a few years ago. Towards the end it was getting super rowdy. I got to lead the final run down for the season. We were all training the first jump. I was really drunk and said fuck it and threw a huge backflip spread eagled out. I overshot and over-rotated and ate shit in front of everyone but it was still all hype.
CalumSKInaw i cant stop cause its my source of income half the year

11010110Just remember, obtaining personal debt for an institutionalized education isn't worth it for the next 10 to 15 years of paying back that loan plus interest
friesSounds wonderful but also a ticket to a life of hard work and job insecurity, as much as I hate to say.
SuspiciousFishI was at Snowbird a few years ago in a massive blizzard. It was basically whiteout conditions and dumping snow and I was lapping the Mineral Basin lift as long as I could before it closed. I was the only guy still out there and even the liftie was kind of giving me looks after a few laps. I knew the run by heart and was just poking my way down from cliff band to cliff band in the pow and ended up on top of Hamilton Cliffs. I was taking a breather and suddenly I see a giant snow 'dust devil' come ripping up the mountain like a mini tornado. It swirled around the shoulder of the cliff band and came up right to me and the snow suddenly swirled all around with me standing in the middle of it. Then after about 5 seconds it dissipated. I kinda got this weird feeling and a chill up my spine and to this day think there is some kind of mountain spirits or something out there.
Other memorable moments:
Watching my buddy's dad break his collar bone in the park because he suddenly thought he could do a 360 despite never skiing park before.
My brother took a fat dip of chew at the bottom of a double lift to try to be cool then proceeded to puke brown shit the entire way up.
Getting stuck on Snowghost double for 45 min in a storm with two drunk ass snowboarders behind us yelling "WE WANT REPARATIONS!" the whole time.
Once my buddy and I were stoned off our minds at night at Schweitzer hanging out in the village. This random guy came up and we talked to him then suddenly he said, "You wanna ride in a groomer?". We were stoked and he walked us over to the Piston Bully and we got to ride to the top and back and hear his stories. It was pretty sweet to be ripped and chilling in the machine as it tanked over snow berms etc.
We were bombing groomers one day and my Brother caught an edge and yardsaled really bad with all his gear strewn around the slope for at least 100 yards. Then this stuffy Gaper lady literally skied through all his stuff while he was yelling for her to help grab his goggles etc then gave him a look and kept skiing.

Another time I was at Snowbird and hiking the traverse at Baldy's bowl. I had my chillum and was taking a break on a rocky area and took a pretty big hit while sitting there. Suddenly this 12 yr old kid appears from around the corner and just starts staring at me while I panicked thinking his Dad was going to come around any second. I just kind of stared back at him holding this fat hit in trying to figure out what the hell to do. Finally I turned and put my face into a snow patch and blew it all into the snow which actually worked pretty well. Then I coughed a bunch and quietly put my skis back on and just kind of skied off while this kid looked at me.

DeebieSkeebiesgot a bad concussion and at the time of the injury, PCMR was pre-vail takeover so they had a volunteer patroller program. Anyways there were a bunch of really inexperienced and unprepared rookies handling my injury and doing everything pretty wrong but luckily had one of my best friends skiing with me who has had concussions/been around people who have had them so he kinda stepped in and helped me which is a bad look (the volunteer program is no more obviously).
Then they loaded me into an SUV to drive me down to base patrol clinic to get an eval and the suv was parked on an incline so they loaded me in the back and one patroller lost their grip and i slid head first on the backboard to the front of the vehicle and kinda crashed into the drivers seat/passenger seat. A total shitshow
