Should I size up on Surface Outsiders?

I'm 180cm tall but I've heard it skis short due to the triplane rocker. Should I go to the 189cm one? I'm just worried about the weight making it not easy to handle in the park cuz I want it to be a one ski quiver.

Damn dude, tough question for sure. If I were you id probs get the 189 tho just cause 180 is gonna feel mangled with your height and that much rocker.

Definitely size up,
I'm 175cm and riding the 179's. Since they have so much damn rocker they tend to feel short sometimes and I kind of wish I sized up.

189. I'm the same height as you and I couldn't imagine owning the 79s.

I’ve had both, 179s are for sure better in the park, and in general for all mountain, they’re a super playfull shreddy ski you can charge, whip around and spin easy. When it comes to deep, 12” or more snow, they can feel pretty slow and grabby. The abrupt rocker seems to catch the snow and there’s not enough tip to plane the ski out of the snow.
The 189’s even mounted true center just feel more like a directional charger. They’re still playful and super fun. But not nearly as willing to whip around and I don’t care for them in the park. Where the 179s are one of my favorite park skis.
