i am pretty sure i can hit chads gap but i need to know how to get there from the top of alta so i don't have to hike to it and i can . ski down from the top

Drop in Alfs and go straight down with no turns, you will end up at Chads gap.

step 2: find location
step 3: using the location you found, use google maps or fatmaps to figure out how/if you can ride there
step 4: ?????????????

I feel like if your asking this question seriously, you probably shouldn't be skiing in that terrain.

I mean the conditions have to be perfect. There's a reason it hasn't been hit in 4 years, even by pros.

You have to deal with the local crews who are territorial.

You have to have some damn good jump building expertise and put in at least three full days just to build the jump.

You have to realize that coming up short may very well break your back.

And this is off the top of my head. I'm sure a Utah local could give you any even bigger list of reasons.
