Replying to A-Basin on Ikon Pass - What does it mean?

This is probably most pertinent for anyone who lives in Colorado or visits here frequently....

What do you think this pass change means for you the skier?

As someone who had Epic pass for the first 11 years I lived here (2005 thru 2016), I had a pretty good notion of what to expect from A-Basin. Big lines early season, fun times and tough party spot parking finding but mostly mellow lines and good skiing on the days mid-season Keystone, Breck, Vail. But I believe that has changed lately. The last time I tried to go to A-Basin was in (I believe) 2016 for a Friday late May powder day a week after Loveland closed. I hit a backup at least 1 mile above the ski area soon to realize the entire parking lot was closed. As it was a very late season weekday, no bus was running from Keystone either. I was told by parking attendant to "come back after lunch". Its the first and only time I have driven back home to Denver without being able to get on a chairlift.

I have skied on Ikon last two years.

What do you think the lines, crowds, parking situation will be for A-Basin this year? Improved? Same? Worse?? Bonus points for any speculation or behind the scenes drama factoids on A-Basin leaving Vail pass for Ikon.
