2020 Armada JJ vs Armada JJ Zero

is there anyone out there who can give me some advice on whether I should grab the standard JJ's or the JJ zero's this year.
I intend to use the ski as a daily driver. I'll be skiing Whistler all winter and ski pretty aggressively (cliffs etc.). The Zero's look dope but I am worried they will be too soft on an average non-pow day. Would appreciate any commentary on your experiences using either ski in different conditions. I am 6ft tall and 180 lbs for reference.

I’m pretty sure the Zero is the same ski just lighter. If you’re skiing the JJ every day I’d say that’s more of a disadvantage than anything else in my eyes. The different in weights is about 400 grams but that extra weight on the regular JJ is going to provide a less pingy ski in bad conditions

The Zero/UL is geared towards touring or 50/50 use rather than pure resort use where the extra weight of the standard model will aid in stability and will be much better in crud, tracked out powder.
185cm standard model will still be plenty playful but still be decent when you don’t have perfect untracked powder.

I just ordered the UL for touring setup and light use. Given it wont be an everyday ski it'll be perfect for those one off touring days from time to time. If you are looking for an everyday ski do not go with the UL, the durability is not there.

The durability concerns of the zeros are real, granted it isnt really designed to be driven hard in the resort daily. I tried daily driving, snapped one in the park. Great for touring and some in bounds powder skiing 100%, just take it easy on them.
