TOAST.Do places really check your college ID when you buy a season pass?
IMO not worth it trying to sneak laps or use someone elses pass.
partyandBSStowe weekends is nothing compared to out west. Just hit sensation or the double. Also, i went to Bolton and they never checked the pass i bought so the next time i didnt buy a pass and they were yelling at me to put the bar down and take my backpack off but still never checked if i paid or not ha.
I was in a pinch for money and its a pretty scummy thing to do. Bolton is a small business and seems like i ripped them off. But Jay is a corperate scandal so rip those fucks off all ya can just like they did their investors
FogdartRipping Jay off is equivalent to ripping off the community. The community and investors won't ever recoup even half of what they deserve
The two dudes who scammed everyone have nothing to do with the place now
Ajd2700I wasn’t planning on scamming anyone really, I was just going to have my brother buy it with my money and get the college discount
freeskibum82what you are planning is in fact a scam and illegal.. falsifying documents and impersonation
Ajd2700Yeah buddy I’m aware, but it’s either that or they don’t get a season pass purchase. Additionally, I’m a recent graduate. What I meant is I’m not trying to ski on for free.

dan4060"but it's either that or they don't get a season pass purchase."
WHAT!!
Are you really being serious?
You are not trying to ski for completely free but you are still trying to scam the system. I don't really care, people used to do that when I lived in Tahoe, but don't act like you are doing them a favor by purchasing a discounted pass fraudulently. Ski areas don't work that way, you are not going to go in and negotiate a lower season pass price because they would rather sell you a pass than not.
Can I ask why you bought the Ikon Pass? It seems that if skiing somewhere other than Stowe on weekends is so important you might have been better off spending that money on a different pass. If money is tight why buy the Ikon?
It has gotten much harder to do the things you want, so be careful. Back when I lived in Tahoe I had a couple of buddies who were dead ringers for each other. One of them bought a full Alpine pass, the other a mid-week Squaw pass, then they each claimed they lost the pass to get a new one. This was before scanning, so unless they were skiing next to each other it was easy to get away with that kind of thing. Things have gotten much harder no, and the resorts don't fuck around. If you do something like this they might be you for years. Or, they might not, I don't know what they will do, but it might not be worth it just to save some money or get some uncrowded days.
