ethanshredzSki tech here, to maximize durability and predictability on park skis I tune to 1° base, 1° side, with an aggressive de-tune with a file underfoot and at the tip and tail. I then finish with a full-length de-tune with a gummi stone to remove any burrs. Most of my skis only get tuned once in their lifetime, when I first get them, and to be honest you can still carve even a completely mangled edge on anything but bulletproof ice, so don't fuss too much about it.
SavageBiffThx I will lax on all but my chronics at least til I feel they aren’t holding
I tried teaching myself to file I basically made a b dog edgeless 😩🤷🏼♂️😂
snowmosexualDid you use a file holder?
