Im i the only one hear who skis nordica boots?

ive never seen a single person mention nordicas. At least for my foot/ankle, nordicas are so much more comfy than and other boot ive ever tried.
Anybody else dig nordicas?

Lange or Technica for me....Boots like Fulltilts or other softer boots never appealed to me as a youngin park rat and i liked being able to ski decently outside the park.

My oldest sister skied in Dobermans for eons almost and she said they were the best boots ever

from experience Nordicas fit a pretty specific foot. that being said I have a pair of doberman pro 130s that are by far the best, most comfortable boots for carving and charging I have ever owned.

I actually use to ski Nordicas when I was younger and they fit my foot really well but I just got full tilts to fit in with other park rats lol. Now I’m so used to full tilts I can’t ski anything else

The ProMachine is a great boot (use to be called the GPX). I've found the speed machine too wide. The easy of molding the boot makes these a great boot. Drop in a custom footbed and use their infrared heater to pull areas from the outside while wearing and its cake. They also screw everything on instead of rivets so you can fix them yourself after calling nordica for parts. Based in NH they have been very convenient and always happy to help.

I love my Nordica Ace's, had em for a few seasons. Went down a size to get a better fit once they pack out, so i get some toe bang occasionally. Just got a new molded footbed last season to give me another couple years out of em.

This is what i think kind of. Like i cant believe how much comfier nordicas are on my ankles than any other boot manufacturer. I think maybe its just a good match for my foot ankle but in my heart i feel like what it really comes down to is that nordicas are indeed the coziest boots you can get.

I've got several seasons on my GPX 110s and love them: fit great and the stiffness is perfect. Actually sorta bummed they're starting to have some significant wear and tear on them and I'll have to most likely replace 'em after this season.

That being said, they are definitely for a certain foot shape/type: seem to work best for those with a bit narrower of a (but necessarily shorter) foot

Unfortunately, the soles at the heel and toe are beginning to wear/break off; had a very late lasting season this year so lots of a abuse from walking on pavement/mud/rocks.

They perform and feel fine still, but chunks are beginning to come off in those areas and I can't imagine they'll last another year if I plan to double my riding days from last season....

Hope I am wrong though: love those boots!

Dont they have a replaceable toe and heel piece? My nordicas have a replaceable (i think) piece on both the toe and heel. The picture i saw of the gpxs on google showed a different color insert on the toe and heel. Are yours like an older model or something?

mine are so comfortable, they've never given me a single blister don't hurt my feet unless i'm skiing 8+ hours, and even then it's just pressure

Upgrade to the gripwalk soles if you bindings can accommodate that. If you do a lot of walking in them you'll thank me..

I use cat track sole covers when i have to walk long distances. At the rate im wearing out my soles ill be able to use my boots till im 80

I got myself a pair of nordica sport machine
last season!!! Have a scar on my ankle from chainsaw accident:( Normally have a problem breaking in new boots!
Did the custom mold thing aanndd

I honestly have never heard anybody on ns talk about nordicas. Its all about full tilts and dalbellos. Its good to hear other people share the love for nordica.

I remember rocking the "Red Fish Bowl" boots by Nordica. Remember them wearing down super fast while I was skiing moguls competitively.
Dalbellos were the boots I have the most comfort on while breaking them in.
Worst boots Ive ever owned was the Full Tilt Booters. My ankles were never the same after...But, they were really comfortable off the hills.

I have some Nordica boots from 1998 (Grand Prix) I use when it’s icy. They feel like strapping two rocks to my feet, but help carve like a mofo down groomers. I also have some Full Tilts. No shocker there.

Another question in case anybody knows:
did nordica boots change at all when technica bought them in 2003? Or did they keep the same sort of designs that nordica had before being bought out?
