Replying to Mt. Bachelor vs. Hood

I want to take a ski trip to Oregon this winter in mid February. Leaning towards bachelor at the moment partly because the views from the summit lift and the nearby town of Bend. What is the likelihood of being able to ski from the summit at bachelor in mid Feb? Would the chances be better if I waited a little longer, say early March? How does bachelor compare to Hood? Not really looking for extreme scary terrain since I'm going with my girlfriend, but she is a good skier and we still enjoy challenging runs together. If you have skied Oregon please give me some of your opinions. Thanks!
