DolanReloadedUrah is like colorado but 4 times worse because utah has half the pot and double the mormons.
I could never live in such an anti drug shithole. You cant even buy a bag of syringes from a pharmacy in utah. They would rather have addicts get aids or hep c than do something to reduce harm. Fuck utah.
skiermanDon't worry, in 15 years Utah's snow pack will be non-existent just like it already is in Colorado.
skeirmanI might agree with you on Copper.

Liam_j10Well for those who enjoy skiing more than drugs utah is a wonderful place
DolanReloadedCulture wise though colorado is the best state in the country while utah is near the bottom. All the crazy utah kids are crazy because they hate mormonism and the straight edge culture in utah.
Colorado kids are all like bobby brown. Good natured, friendly, and humble.

Liam_j10I agree that CO culture > UT culture but I've lived in a lot of different places and it aint bad here at all. Maybe its because I'm in college and work for backcountry but I don't find myself interacting with the stereotypical ut shit at all
DolanReloadedMakes sense. I feel like utah holds a tolerant face to all the vacationers so they think utah is friendly and laid back, but when it comes down to it you can have a small amount of drugs in your pocket in colorado and get let off by the cops while in utah the same amount of drugs will get you a major charge and court case. Mormons pretend they are laid back and tolerant but in reality they hate anything that doesnt jive with their strict religious lifestyle. Colorado is probably one of the most tolerant states in the country. Remember that breckenridge
was the first place in the country to legalize personal possession of weed. They were ahead of everywhere, even california.
I feel like the influx of stoners moving to colorado isnt a bad thing either. Its better than an influx of rat snitches who narc on their weed dealing neighbor.

edaiYea Brecks the best hands down, can't imagine why you'd ever go anywhere else.
skiermanYup, keep driving over an hour on a highway filled with jackasses only to pay for parking or take a bus for another 30 minutes to the resort where you stand in an hour+ lift line.
That sounds like an incredible investment in your time.

partyandBSI lived in breck for 5 years and am able to find fresh snow christmas week if the snow is there. So because of my experience there I do prefer it. However if you were visiting and exploring mountains for the first time, keystone is much more user friendly. Copper is slightly less busy. A basin has a way different atmosphere and some great terrian too.
As far as the utah co battle goes, CO snow is consistaly the dryest snow in the US. Utah gets a lot of the same but also some heavier pacific storms. This limits backcountry safety in CO especially in summit. On resort, that dry snow is a plus. Traffic in Utah seems to be way better. I-70 is a fucking shit show.
My prefrence is CO but both are way better than VT where im at now.
