Grilamid vs Polyurethane in boots

Have heard some concerning things about boots using Grilamid in the construction, like its not difficult to put dents in the shell and easy to deform the toe and heel pieces from normal use in alpine bindings. Curious if anyone has experience with this, I've never personally had or heard of anything like this happening with standard PU boots.
