loadedburritoi wouldnt get pivots if you dont have your own pair of boots, you have to re mount most likely if you get new boots every season (renting). If i were you id go with the attacks
SavageBiffAsk a bootfitter what they think about over sizing and filling with foam for one or two seasons so u don’t outgrow boots, just learn to fit yourself if you try this
also if u look on evo etc during sale times u could find boots for the low low that u could maybe afford to grow outta ?
U can grow outta skis too but u could oversize there too but at 17 you should b about due for your last spurt 🤷🏼♂️ I can’t remember that was 20 years of weed smoking ago
bryann_carvoLol, yea I’m a size 9.5 in shoes. I’ll prob grow a size or maybe 2. I’ll prob get get boots a size bigger if that. I’m mainly lookin at full tilts or Dalbellos
SavageBiffLook at everything don’t swear loyalty til you put your foot in that magic boot
a boot can make or totally wreck your season it’s the most important part outside of avy gear for guys in those zones
bryann_carvoYeah well I can’t really try on boots cuz I don’t have any ski shops near me where I just moved
mystery3Where do you live? Or ski? Are there any ski swap type events locally? If you can't hit a bootfitter it would at least be nice to try some boots on and not order blindly off the internet.
SavageBiffThere are a few bootfitters in my area that suuuuuuck! None that are good I’m sure I’m better than the two I know of so teach yourself and wait til your on the mountain , try on many things in the stores , get help from their fitter go home and find a deal online
this is exactly what I’ll be doing this season , I could straight order offlinenaight unseen as I know my measurements and what I’m looking for but every company fits slightly different so ima get as close to perfect as possible and have a bootfitter so the rest
g luck whatever u do

loadedburritoI have had both, still currently on the dalbello panterra 120, they both hurt my feet really bad and the dalbellos are extremely tight on my ankles even when unbuckled, try different boot brands, i know a lot of people who cant wear a certain brand of boots but swear by another, take your time when looking for boots
bryann_carvoYeah. Since I can’t go try on boots in person, i may just go with full tilts cuz I heard only good things about those boots
SavageBiffYou need to post your pic now
youd make a great “ just buy full tilts “ poster boy having said that
g luck
bryann_carvoAlright, I’m about to buy the ARV 96 2020 with Tyrolia attacks. I think ima just rent boots this year at my local ski shop here in Georgia. Is that a good idea?
Austintexas25Yo I’m the same age as you and my feet haven’t grown since I was like 14. Not everyone is the same but fitted boots are 100% worth it. But if you’re gonna use rentals I would definitely get attacks cause they have a little bit of adjustment post mount. Pivots have none at all

TOAST.Didn't you just say there were no ski shops near you? Also dont just buy fulltilts, especially if you have a wide or semi wide foot or you will be miserable. My feet have felt terrible in every model of full tilts.
