Nordica enforcer 100

The Enforcer 100 is an excellent directional all-mountain ski, but if you are hitting rails, skiing switch, or otherwise value any aspect of freestyle performance, do not get it.

To start, these things would be helpful:

- Height & weight
- where you ski
- what kind of terrain you typically ski or are intending to ski on this new ski (e.g., park, trees, open bowls, long runs, short runs, etc.)
- what kind of conditions you'll be skiing on this ski (e.g., super firm groomers, deep pow, slush, etc.)
- what skis have you used in the past?
- what did you like and not like about those skis?
- your skiing style — do you drive the shovels / front of your skis really hard, or do you ski more centered / neutral? Do you ski switch a lot? In the park, are you more into rails or bigger jumps? Do you like to butter? Is playfulness more of a priority for you, or do you mostly want a ski that's really stable at speed? Or are you looking for an equal balance?

If you can expand on those things, we'll be able to offer more accurate recommendations.

Gotcha, then I'd recommend a fairly middle-of-the-road, all-mountain-freestyle ski. Here are some good options:

- Armada ARV 106: just a really solid all-round ski. Does fine everywhere, pretty playful, pretty stable, there's not much not to like about it. And it's got thicker edges than the Enforcers.

- Moment Wildcat 108: really fun option if you want something on the stiffer end. Its tips and tails are fairly soft and easy to bend, but the rest of the ski is stout and it's more stable than the ARV 106 and Prodigy 3. But it's still got a lot of rocker and a -6 cm mount so it's totally comfortable skiing switch, spinning, etc. Also very light in the air (lightest of the skis I listed)

- Nordica Enforcer 104 Free: I think the other options are better for you, but this is a good ski if you want your skis to feel very smooth and composed on rough snow. It's pretty heavy in the air and I wouldn't bash it on a ton of rails, but unlike the Enforcer 100, the Enforcer 104 skis well mounted around -6, where it feels more balanced, and it's got deeper rocker lines and twinned tail which make it feel significantly more playful overall vs. the Enforcer 100.

- Faction Prodigy 3.0: nice option if you want a stiffer, more damp ski that's still loose and playful. Doesn't carve as well as the other skis here, but holds an edge fine. And it's still pretty stable while being quite stable at speed.

- ON3P Woodsman 108: nice alternative to the Enforcer 104 if you want a ski that feels nice and smooth on rough snow, but the Woodsman is a lot looser, poppier, and feels more playful overall. It'll also float really well in deep snow.
