I'm currently trying to help my girlfriend find a set of skis for the upcoming winter. We will be in St Anton in Austria for the winter season and she mainly skis on piste, occasionally off piste and never skis switch or in the park. She's very good in terms of her technique and ability to ski anything competently but her confidence means she often won't ski anything ungroomed without a good deal of hesitation. She's 21 years old and exactly 5' (152cm) tall and ideally we're looking for a directional ski that performs well and grips on icier pistes whilst also being able to dip off into off piste on nicer days.
We've looked at a few skis but the main issue is finding something roughly 150cm tall (she doesn't want to go any bigger). Cheers guys
