But yea, keep promoting this and you'll see Chinese gymnasts who can't carve dominating the discipline.

I kind of understand what ur saying but ur complaining about “cork 7 wiffed mute to dub backie” but this was just a cork 3 wiffed boot grab flail to dub 10. Aerialist shit is wack af in park skiiing, theres no style, it just doesnt look cool and it belongs in ski jumping not park skiing. IMO.

Two types of skiers these days. Kids that do insane tricks like this and kids that do lip 2's on to urban rails. Both equally as crazy in my eyes. I couldn't even imagine flipping 3 times off a jump while spinning.

yeah the divide between street and slope is widening very quickly, seems like slope and pipe are going to regulate themselves into obscurity the same way every competitive freestyle discipline has

Yeah except it's a lot harder to accelerate and then decelerate spin. I get it, not the best grab execution but it;s the first known example of someone taking a really difficult maneuver and putting it into an off axis maneuver on a park jump, so calling it a "flail" seems pretty misleading. My point is that skiing is progressing and someone probably will do it with a tweaked grab combo, and there will always be people that hate comps because they aren't just "who can do the best cork 5 or blind 2".

Don’t know why there is so much hate and how people are comparing a lip b2 on urban to this. Yes I agree it wasn’t that clean, but it’s a NBD trick on snow. Of course the first few times you would only be concentrating on rotation and not killing yourself. I don’t know if a full grab is even possible throughout. I can picture a safety on first cork then unwrapping the 7 then grabbing jap on last 3 which would be dope. How are you going to give a kid shit risking his life bringing something new to the table? Thought the whole point of freestyle skiing is to be creative and inventive and do whatever the hell you want. You can see how excited he is about landing it! Learning any new trick and landing feels good no matter what level you’re on so I don’t understand the negativity. Individuality is what makes this sport so hating on someone’s accomplishments seems pretty dumb to me. Just my opinion

any rotation you can't do a dank tweaked mute to or a proper blunt ins't a newschool ski trick IMO, that's aerials. Grabs are an integral part of the sport.

I was hoping someone would find one, thanks! Need to rewatch EoS I guess. That rotation is definitely more on the flatspin/underflip side of things though and calling it a 7 I think is a stretch, he's fully at 450 when the second rotation starts and it's on a hip jump so 810 would be more appropriate. Still waiting on someone to do that on a straight jump
