The Black crows Atris ski

I've been comparing skis for a while now, and i think this is the one. There's only one problem: the recommended mount point is -8 from true center. I've skied center or near center mounted skis basically always (10 years probably) and i still want to be able to do the same things as before, meaning landing switch on smaller jumps and taildrags and what not. Will I kill the soul of the ski by mounting them -5 or -4 from true center? any experiences? (before you go on suggesting other skis, i live in Finland and really cant afford to pay several hundred bucks for shipping from america)

-4 is probably too far forward but a mount around -5.5-6 would make the ski much more neutral. If you're really concerned about a progressive mount there's probably better skis for you (from the big brands at your ski shop). Armada ARV, K2 Marksman, Faction CT/Prodigy.

I think they'd be fine mounted 4-5cm back from center. When I demo'd them my only complaint was the ski not feeling like it had enough tail. I was using the 184cm, I'm 170cm and 64kg.
I'd size up and mount forward a bit.

I mounted mine at rec initially and hated it. Moved to -2.5cm from center and they were sweet. Anywhere inbetween is fine. Trust your gut and mount them where you think you’d enjoy the balance

Great ski choice - love mine. I mount on the line coz I ski directional, but have heard of people mounting at -4cm.
All times are Eastern (-5)
