BrawnTrendsWhy isn't it the name of the Woodsy Salomon pro-model?
BightLinkerIMO the only reason to pick them over some kartels would be second hand price. They will be cheaper on the after market, but are you really buying ON3P's based on price tag?
-eREKTion-Walk me through that logic, why will Woodsman's be cheaper second hand?
BightLinkerSimply based on name alone, and how *relatively* niche it is. I'd assume most people buying an ON3P in the 108 waist range will buy the Jeffrey, after the woodsman is settled in a bit it wont be as desirable as Kartels. I made that statement based on market trends, I could be totally wrong

-eREKTion-I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're totally wrong. You spend too much time on here and you might think the Jeffrey is the only ski ON3P makes, spend too much time on TGR forums and you'd think the same of the Wren. I think the Woodsman is going to be a big hit with the majority of skiers who don't spend their time circle-jerking on their preferred dying forums.
Honestly, I think that the Woodsman shape the opposite of "niche", it straddles the two established spectrums in ON3P's lineup; freestyle vs. charger. The Woodsman doesn't really fit in either niche. Also, what's wrong with the name woodsman? And what market trends are you analyzing, lol?
iggyskierIt's already one of our best selling models even though hardly anyone has been able to ski on it....so I think the Woodsman is going to be ok.
OP - its a lot of fun and a ski that I personally have been wanting in the line for years. I am a former Wren skier who started realizing how much fun a ski like the Jeffrey could be, but also felt more comfortable with less tail and a further back mount. The Woodsman gives me more power, stability, and go compared to the Jeffrey, but without the need to always drive down the fall line and be on top of the ski, like the Wren.
For years, we've had a lot of skiers who fall in the Wren or Jeffrey groups who really fit well there, but there has also been a big group that always fell inbetween and would just make it work (typically on a Jeffrey mounted back). Woodsman fills a big niche for skiers who want a ski that is modern and progressive, but also stable and driven.
The BLISTER review above did a really good job describing the skis and how they feel for different types of skiers, so data wise, it is by far the most comprehensive review out on the skis. Definitely worth a ready.
If we can help at all, just reach out (email or phone is best). Thanks!

BightLinkerI really hope so, y'all have got some TASTY looking sticks this season! I'm not saying that it wont be a fantastic ski (what ON3P isn't?), I'm just speaking from experience
-eREKTion-Experience with what? I'm still trying to figure out what you're talking about. The name is bad? Wtf, does that mean? It's too niche? It's not, so??? You go to demo days? You have experience? I'm so fucking lost, dude. But I think you might be too, yo.
YeetCannonAlso, who the hell uses the TGR forum XD
SirBucklesHow does this ski too in tighter terrain such as glades or chutes?
