Replying to Help my gear up my wife

looking to get my wife her own gear so she can be on the hill with our kids more
she finds rental boots miserable , go figure

who makes the most comfortable ladies boots ? Soft / med flex she’s total beginner , comfort is priority

also , she can not grasp the concept of carve , she can barely turn on a bunny hill , forms terrible and she doesn’t listen wel to instructors 🤷🏼‍♂️ Lot of fear so any tips appreciated

as far as skis , was looking at different k2s , between jaw and nose for height , rocker camber rocker for ease of turn etc , good idea?she wants a light ski , but would a heavier ski make sense ? Alll input appreciated
