mystery3Sheevas as opposed to black pearls?
OP where do you guys ski?
My wife adores her Black Crows Ova Birdies which have been supplanted by the Vertis Birdie...they have a good sale on Evo last I checked.
I put another friend on Icelantic Oracle 88s, she was a very timid beginner and after 8-10 days last year she carves a little bit and can manage solid blue terrain, it's not super pretty but she keeps up with the 8yo kids. The skis are quite light and have very easy turn initiation. 158cm, she's ~5'2ish and maybe 140 or so?
We ski the east only hard or soft groomed for her , I travel all over but haven’t brought the fam along yet
she’s got about 6 days with me on the learners area and a couple circles she plowed her way down , fear is her first limit
I don’t personally care if she looks “ like she knows what she’s doing “ I just want her to have fun , she comes out just for us but she’s kinda miserable cause she’s afraid and held back , she took a private beginners leason and then days with me she’s just stuck and I’m no teacher I try but I stepped on skis 24 years ago and it was like I’d been doing it forever I can’t think what she needs to hear or see to improve
she’s practiced on 130 cm , 140 cm and 150 cm , she likes the 130 the most which is right below her jaw at 5’0 120ish I’d guess
were def going to a bootfitter just as always curious to hear what everyone says about boots as a community experience especially wanna year from some ladies , there’s one or two on here right
the pandoras sheevas Black pearls sassy 7 some k2s even captis birdie kinda what I been looking etc mainly asking I’m correct that a turned up tail is gonna work better for a beginner , I think the rentals are flat tail and she just cannot get on edge
