CLQSome fucking no name brand talking shit about MSP and Scott Gaffney.
I should add that every MSP film besides this one, has featured women in it. Last years movie was full of women. I feel like all this "controversy" is just for clicks for this small brand.

Seems like their entire brand is built around this. If you’re in the industry of skiing, speak through skiing. Build yourself and others up rather than tearing others down for a cheap political victory.

I made the mistake of clicking the link to there instagram and aside from now wanting to kill myself I noticed that despite shitting on MSP, they made no effort to promote Jyosei unless I missed something.
holy shit their page is wild. I am as big a feminist as anyone but I thought this was a ski company? Or maybe a t shirt company? for sure just a lifestyle company. If coalition is so into girls skiing, then why do they not flow or sponsor any true ripping girls. Cute snow pictures are cool, but there are tons of regular skier girls who go out there and ski hard as fuck. support them!

Maybe coalition should branch out and make an all womens ski movie if they're so passionate about the issue, and if MSP has usually had the most featured females why call em out if they dont for once? I'm pretty sure level 1 rarely has featured women so why not bitch and moan to josh berman?

In a serious note though not even from a feminist stand point it's in every ski productions best interest to have men and women in ski movies. They need to be reaching out to every demographic especially with production companies dropping left and right. They did have hang ups with their current athletes but they could have reached out to new riders. I'm sure there are tons of lady rippers itching for the opportunity.

That is the funny thing about their ads, its like they deny reality to push their agenda. Major ski brands have had women specific twin tip skis on par with Mens models since like 2005. Hell the 2006 K2 MissDemeanor was badass and on par with the Public Enemies:

they've had women in their movies even longer than that, Wendy Fisher has segments in all of the movies leading up to Yearbook
also does coalition just not even know about the existence of other ski movie companies? tons of all dude movies have been made, super weird to single out MSP
The fact that this movie is following 4 people rather than a full 15 or 20 person athlete list makes their argument stupid as fuck. I could understand if this was a traditional MSP movie and they specifically chose to not feature women while keeping a full cast, but they have no leg to stand on in saying MSP are sexist given the way they chose to make the movie.
Burden women with one more thing to do? Holding men in production companies accountable? What the fuck? They're saying they're the only ones doing something about it but they're just bitching, it's a great idea to out out their own content if they want to be put into bigger films, but that would be to much work I guess? They created their own problem by complaining over this, companies choose who they want in the films, it's not at all their problem if people disagree with the cast in it.
