Rocking an 8.5 grimplestix popsicle, indy trucks, spitfire formula 4s not sure what size at this point, finally bought a new set of reds this past week, Ive been riding with 7 bearings and got tired of my wheel falling off on back smiths when I lock in.
Cant upload my fav trick from this summer on my phone but Ill do that shit tmrw on my computer

-I mostly ride a 9x34.25 skull skates deck. I can skate fine on a 33 which is the usual upper bound for deck lengths but its more natural for me to ride a longer deck. I feel like alot of people who quit skateboarding in their 20s and 30s bc their ability goes to shit would get back in the zone if they tried out a longer deck.
-5.8 venture trucks
-bones hard bushings
-bones super swiss bearings
-bones atf 60 mm 80a hardness. -these wheels are awesome. They roll much better than hard wheels on the street asphalt. Try them once and you will never go back to hard wheels. They also are quiet as fuck and dont annoy the neighbors when you slam the board back into the pavement.
-jessup grip tape

-I mostly like just rolling around ollieing up and down curbs and doing manuals.

Trick tips- if your learning to ollie, i think the best thing you can do is learn to push the board a tad backwards with your rear foot when you pop. Alot of youtube vids say to push straight down with your legs when you ollie, but this will make the board go too far forward as your front foot drags the board forwards. Anyways, that works for me and if you look closely at good ollies on youtube youll see what i mean.

I ride a 9 inch board from some obscure company that my local skate shop really likes. I ride Bones STF 55s with Bronson’s on a pair of Indy’s.

I like wallies and transition

i have no trick tips at all

favorite skater is Kevin Rodrigues/the entire Polar skate team

I really like the “eisbaer” intro on one of the polar skate videos. Cool aura to that film.
Also props on the big wheels. I ride 60s. I dont understand how people ride over cracks in the sidewalk on 50 inch wheels

How big are you? Id go with a 33” board if your not very petite. Having a longer board makes everything better in my opinion.

Bought an element complete here in Aus. 8.15 Through some new bearings in her the other day. Been skating more than snowboarding.

Favorite trick is not eating a pile of shit. But of got my bs rock on the 1/4 into boardslides on the ledge pretty locked at the moment.

Stoked because I was scared af to drop in a couple months ago. Not getting out a ton but cool to progress. We had some snow and rain so today was first day for me in 2 weeks but snapped back to feeling comfortable pretty quick.

Wish id have picked it up earlier but having a blast learning at 30. Hoping to find a wood mini to ride in tahoe this season to learn some more lip tricks.

Started dabbling in a few new things but taking it pretty cruisey and just having fun.

Also like various shuvs and 180s. Almost had big spins going but can't even come close to kick or heelflip and havent really bothered to try.

Rode with some other locals today that were pretty sick and saw some new lines, most which are above my abilities but got some fresh inspiration which is always chill.

Nice. I always try to focus on hobbies that i can get better at every time i get out there. Skating, inline, skiing, tennis... its more fun to do stuff you constantly get better at. I didnt start skateboarding til college so i dont have to lament about not being as good at 30 as i was at age 16.

I have a Foundation board in 8.38 with some Indys and Spitfire wheels. I've reallt been enjoying doing kickflips and lipslides recently, but boardslide is probably my favorite trick.
I feel like the key with skating is just to skate as often as you can, so you get really comfortable on the board, and learning tricks will come much easier. Learning all the easier tricks too really help with confidence, even if they're pretty random. And when you skate a lot you don't really loose tricks, which is pretty frustrating with skating

I started skating again after a short stint as a little one. My sister and I shared a board . Neither of us got too serious with it.
I'm trying this skating thing again as an adult and I think its harder than skiing. I dont know much but when I bought my board I knew absolutely nothing at all.
Its an Enjoi complete. Its kinda small compared to the measurements everyone has shared. Its about 7.6 wide 31 long. Tensor trucks 52mm wheels. But I'm short and petite so I guess its ok? I can't do any tricks I'm just busy getting comfortable with just riding around on it.
