I really like Liquid Forces boards. We have a Keen as a skim style, POD as a big surfer, and I just got my wife a Dart since she is small and the other boards we had were tossing her around. Between those 3 it is enough variety for pretty much anyone you bring on the boat.
What exactly are you looking for? Skim, surf, hybrid? I got all of my boards on evo on sale. You can find some solid deals on past years models.

Yeah ultimately I’d rather be wakeboarding, but surfing is a great option mid day when water is chopped up or for getting the whole family on the boat doing stuff. I mean I’d love to see my 60 yr old parents wakeboarding, but it can be a bit much. Surfing has allowed them to enjoy the water and actually get really good at a water sport without the higher risk of injury.

Ya for sure, in those situations wake surfing is great. I'm talking about when kids go out on daddy's new nautique, and the water is perfectly glassy and they still decide to wakesurf and fills the entire lake with the massive rollers, from the boat's massive wake surfing wake.

That’s fair. If it’s glass you should be wakeboarding. I get more pissed at the idiots doing speed pickups while surfing or wakeboarding. Your boat does not need to be throwing up a wake in order for you to drive back and pick someone up. Maybe if the lake is super busy but if that’s the case you probably shouldn’t be in the water and a booze cruise is more acceptable.

I'd more say the skiing equivalent of wakeboarding. I've tried my wakeskis on a surf wave and I couldn't get enough push/float to drop rope for more than a few seconds. Might be more do-able if you have a newer deep hull surf boat (G23, Ri237, A22, X22). We have an older Super Air Nautique 210 which is an amazing boat, but is just smaller, lighter, and doesn't have a dedicated surf system so we use a wakesurf shaper to help out.
That being said wakeskiing is mad fun, but holy shit the bails suck. It's like a guarantee that you bash your shins with the other ski. Kind of the main reason I hung mine up and now wakeboard. Still bust them out when we have friends over who don't want to wakeboard. Always a blast watching people learn to jump wake on them.

Yeah just saw that he wanted to do wake surfing and not wakeboarding...I'm not sure you can keep yourself afloat without a rope on wakeskis, they're not designed for that.
Surfing is an extreme sport, the essence of which is to ride the waves on a special device. There are no strict requirements and regulations in surfing, all you need to master it is a quality board and diligent training. I prefer to use an inflatable board. My friend ordered a pair of inflatable paddle board his birthday and we were able to have fun. In 2 weeks everyone learned how to surf and it was very cool and it really helps to connect with nature! Surfing is a great sport, but it can also be dangerous if you don't take it seriously.
I tried wakeboard this summer, and I didn't enjoy it as much as I liked surfing or Windsurfing. However, I am thinking of changing my routine and maybe try canoeing. Last summer, I was canoeing with my family on the river, and I had so much fun. I didn't know anything about this before, so I consulted outdoorlifecafe.com to find more information. Reading it, I fell in love with this activity, and I am thinking now to improve myself in this field. I love surfing, but I think maybe I need a change.
