How do you start a rail jam? (Denver be there if it happens)

I kinda ended up the head of ski club at my school (Regis in Denver) and all I'm tryna do is incubate the stoke and get some fools slidin around asap. I gotta talk to some of the homies in charge at school obviously, but we've done rail jams before at my school so I don't think it'll be too much of an issue. So I guess the question is, how do I get sponsors? Go ask some random ski shops and shit? Also how many of you guys would pull up? Cause we might as well make it fukin sick if it happens, lowkey NS meetup?? Regis is right in northwest Denver. Any advice on getting a rail jam cooking??

For sponsors, make a list of businesses that might be interested in providing prizes, cash or some other resource(lights, snow and rail moving etc.) and contact their marketing/outreach people. Let them know exactly what they can provide, and what you can provide for them (social media tags, logos in video and on course, etc). I've gotten rail jam sponsors from local gas bar/convenience store franchises , a dairy and of course, smaller local ski hills before. See if you can contact some product reps through shops too, they often have a pair of price point twin tips they can put up for a prize, not to mention t-shirts, beanies, stickers etc. for a product grab/toss.
Try and have a BBQ as well and include a burger or skewer or something in the price of entry, and have food for sale which will attract non-skiers. Since its a college rail jam you could probably get a brewery to donate a keg or a case or something.

Absolutely not, the more the better!! If I can convince my school to do this, the last thing they're going to expect is a big turnout tbh, but screw that lets #makerailjamsgreatagain

Update, got the go ahead from faction. But the rail jam is a no go due to liability reasons which makes me vary sad. I'm tryna host Romance and the Collective back to back though. Date TBA, but ya'll better pull up and turn my school auditorium into an actual party

You're talking about on the school grounds, right? I imagine there is no way in hell Regis would allow this but keep us posted I live a mile from there.

We used to have them. The last one was 2 years ago, super sick but I talked to some ppl and they said it's a no go now. I'm bummed, fuck the insurance companies. We are doing a final premier though!!!
