I own the '18 Kartel 116's, they are hands down the best ski ive ever owned. Rode them for around 80 days last season, recommended mount, they are chargy but soft and playful in the ends. Sharp, precise, does exactly what you ask. If you like a stable, fun platform this is the ski for you, although you will need strongish legs. I remounted mine to dead center for this season to get more jibby, but the factory mount is fine. P.S. They're fuggin bombproof

Do you do a lot of freestyle with them? If so how do you find them? Heavy?

Not really, they definitely have some bulk to them but they are so surfy and playful it doesnt matter. Swing weight is nothing, they are mad stable when riding switch, and they are really stompy. they want to keep you upright on big landings. If youre that concerned about weight just get some Bent Chetlers, lighter ski but also pretty squirrely.
