Similar conditions skied, similar weight of skiers asking about similar skis in this recent thread.

The Majesty is definitely a nicer built ski with a more solid(but still forgiving) flex and a better shape for stability. It’s old school, wide park ski shape with very little tip/tail taper which will give very good grip on harder snow and it’s longer turning radius will make it stable at speed and punches above it’s weight class.
The Rossignol Black Ops 98 is a bit heavier and stiffer than the Majesty but similar shape. The 2020 Dynastar Menace 98(renamed 2019 Slicer Factory) has almost the exact same dimensions, sidecut and flex to the Majesty but with more weight behind it making it even better at speed and through crud. Still not super heavy, just heavier than most park skis.
The game changer is the price you can get last year’s Slicer for at Corbetts.com/AsoGear.com. Selling for $300 CAN/$225 US and you can add some Attack2 13 bindings for about $130US. They only had one pair left at 181cm(the size you should get) though as of yesterday afternoon. Website showing none now but not sure if that’s correct so phone to make sure if you’re interested.
Bought a pair myself as it’s such a great deal as did the OP in the other thread!
2020 Menace 98 is $500 CAN/$375 US for the same ski, just different graphics.
